I was watching this scene and I noticed that RIGHT after he starts to turn around to look at Frigga he looks like he’s going to cry, but then it quickly turns into rage. He’s trying so hard to hide it.
I find this happening a lot in his character, where he would rather be angry than sad because he just thinks it makes him look less weak or something. Y’know, the whole pride thing.
